The university is proceeding with plans to implement the four-day, 10-hour work schedule this summer from June 16 to Aug. 29.
During the 4/10 work schedule, the university will conduct general campus business Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The campus will not be open Fridays. Only work units that require 24-hour coverage or extended service days and hours will operate during the weekend.

The campus-wide initiative aims to assist the campus community in its efforts to reduce energy costs. Additionally, the schedule will provide faculty and staff with the opportunity to reduce their commuting expenses during the summer months as fuel prices rise.
